Who’ll be first to get their raccoons ready for a day of rumpus? Learning Resources’ Raccoon Rumpus game is a fun way to help children develop their maths skills, as well as learning fine motor skills and developing social skills like turn-taking. How it works 2-4 players can join in getting these fun critters dressed for their day. Each player rolls the dice then finds the outfit that matches the colours and clothes on the die and dresses their raccoon. The winner is the first player with five fully dressed characters. There’s a twist to the fun though – if your die roll lands on the underwear, then all the raccoon’s clothes fall off and the player has to start again. Children learn early maths skills, get to grips with colour matching and develop their vocabulary all in one lively laugh-a-minute game.
