Protection bars are a low cost means of overcoming the problem. Over the long-term they will significantly reduce repair and maintenance costs. The bars are simple and quick to install and are supplied complete with four fixings. They have a low profile design which makes it easy for pedestrians to step across them yet have sufficient height to block vehicle wheels. These collision protection bars are designed for internal use only. The bars are 76mm in diameter and have a 3mm thick wall. They are powder coated yellow and banded in black to ensure optimum visibility. They have 10mm thick base plates with two fixing holes drilled through to allow secure fixing to the floor. The protection bars can be purchased in three standard sizes all of which are 86mm high. They are available in standard lengths of 400mm 800mm and 1 200mm; weights range from 5-10kg. In addition other versions of the bars in customisable lengths and colours are available on request as is a range of external versions.
