A beautifully fresh Albariño from one of California’s oldest wineries. Lodi’s Bear Creek Winery was established in 1934, the year after Prohibition officially ended. Producing bulk wines until 1997 when the estate was purchased by the Kautz family. That year marked the moment when its focus shifted to becoming a family winery producing unique, sustainably grown wines with a focus on the land and expression of the local terroir. This 100% Albariño is light and elegant, the grapes are harvested at night to lock in the fresh, aromatic flavours. Here’s how it tastes: Bright and fresh with notes of nectarine and cherry blossom, this wine's mineral undertones make it a wonderful pairing for cold seafood platters, prawns or chopped salads.
