12 large Kosher maatjes (10 in sugar recipe) Frozen together in a single layer on one large tray Choose normal or sugar Our maatjes are produced by a specialist herring processor in Holland, who of course also produce a Kosher version. They are pretty substantial specimens, weighing in at nearly 100g each, so even just one is quite a few mouthfuls. It's a bit of a mystery to us why our supplier only sells them in such an outsize pack. Do you really need 12 at a time? We were tempted to repack in to 4s, but perhaps that would de-kosher them.
