Empirical Spirits Ayuuk

50cl / 43% - An earthy, smoky spirit from Danish distillery Empirical Spirits, distilled from a combination of pilsner malt and purple wheat, using smoke-dried Pasilla Mixe chillies – also known as Ayuuk – as its star botanical, before being finished for five days in oloroso sherry casks. The palate is earthy, with notes of dark red berries, plums and soft smoke, a pleasant spiciness lingering in the finish.
