This product is created for animals and is not intended for human use What is Apoquel Chewable Tablets for Dogs Apoquel chewable tablets are used in dogs to treat pruritus (itching) associated with allergic dermatitis (inflammation of the skin) and atopic dermatitis. Apoquel is a veterinary medicine that contains the active substance oclacitinib. Apoquel film coated tablets are available in three different strengths (3.5 mg, 5.4 mg and 16 mg) to cover a range of dog weights. Instructions We can only dispense the number of tablets on your prescription. Please select the strength noted on your prescription, then use our single tablet function to select the correct number. Dosage and Administration Apoquel chewable tablets are designed for oral administration. The recommended initial dose can vary – please follow your vet's instructions for your pet. Apoquel can be administered with or without food, and the tablets are breakable along the score line. Some dogs prefer to have their tablets hidden within treats, whilst others will willingly swallow the tablets as they are. Ensure your dog ingests the correct dose at the recommended times.
