This product is created for animals and is not intended for human use What is Propalin 40mg/ml Syrup for Dogs Propalin syrup is prescribed to female dogs who leak urine when relaxed or resting, which is common in spayed bitches of certain breeds. The syrup contains phenylpropanolamine which stimulates the nerves that control the urethra and cause it to hold closed more firmly, preventing the leakage of urine. It is only suitable for neutered bitches and not useful to treat behavioural cases of inappropriate urination. To administer, give directly by mouth to your pet or add to their daily food to improve compliance. Dosage and treatment length should be directed by your vet, however treatment with Propalin is usually lifelong.
