The church houses an exhibition and 20-minute film and access to these are included in guided walk tickets. Duration: 10 minutes Stop At: Magdalene Bridge Magdalene Street Cambridge We typically start by venturing down to the River Cam where a clear sense of the town's origins can be gained at Magdalene Bridge. Duration: 10 minutes Stop At: Trinity College 31 Trinity Street Cambridge We stop outside Trinity College to admire the gatehouse and Isaac Newton's apple tree. Duration: 5 minutes Stop At: Great St Mary's Church (Church of England) St. Marys Passage King's Parade Cambridge We spend some time surrounded by the central University buildings: the University church the Senate House and Cambridge University Press bookshop as well as the beautiful Gonville and Caius College. Duration: 5 minutes Stop At: Senate House Senate House Hill Cambridge Opposite Great St Mary's Church is the University Senate House where students graduate. Duration: 5 minutes Stop At: King's College King's Parade University of Cambridge Cambridge We view the exterior of King's College including the magnificent chapel from King's Parade. Duration: 5 minutes Stop At: St Edward's Church (Church of England) St Edward's Passage Cambridge We aim to give you a feel for some of Cambridge's most iconic and influential spots both on and off the beaten track. Tours sometimes visit the Church of St Edward King and Martyr where it is claimed the first Protestant sermon was preached in England. Duration: 5 minutes Stop At: Corpus Clock 58 Trumpington St Corpus Christi College Cambridge We visit one of the newer additions to Cambridge's historic King's Parade and explore its significance. Duration: 5 minutes Stop At: St Bene't's Church (Church of England) Benet Street Cambridge We stop to admire the tower of St Bene't's which is the oldest building in Cambridge dating from c.1020. Duration: 5 minutes Stop At: Christ's College St Andrew's Street Cambridge Opposite St Bene't's we see The Eagle pub. Duration: 5 minutes Stop At: Sidney Sussex College Sidney St. Cambridge We venture to the Old Cavendish Laboratory site of significant scientific work and discoveries. The tour involves walking at a moderate to fast pace – please contact the provider to arrange a private tour if you require a slower walking pace. Due to college restrictions visitors with dogs will need to remain outside any colleges visited. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. While we try our best to visit colleges as part of the tour it is not always possible to go inside college grounds and we cannot guarantee this.
