Liquitex : Acrylic Additive : Satin Fluid Medium : 237ml

Liquitex Satin Fluid Medium gives acrylic paint a satin sheen finish. It is lightfast and archival and allows you to extend colour without affecting acrylic stability, whilst increasing colour depth and transparency. It can also be used as a collaging adhesive for lightweight items when used straight from the tube, and can be used as a fixative for pastels, graphite and chalk if diluted in an atomiser. This medium can be used as a non-removable varnish to protect your work and add a satin surface sheen. To use simply mix as much medium as you like with your acrylic paint until you get the viscosity and transparency you want �� the more you add the thinner and more transparent your colour will become. You can dilute up to 25% with water (distilled water will give the best results). The medium is semi-opaque when wet, but clear when dry. To use as a fixative mix 1 part medium to 1 part distilled water and apply with an atomiser or airbrush. To use as a collage glue apply with a brush or sponge.
