A Minerva exclusive, this gorgeous design is printed onto the most wonderful quality viscose jersey knitted base cloth. Viscose is a fibre that is derived from wood pulp, making it a natural fabric that is more breathable than cotton. It feels beautiful against the skin. Viscose jersey is knitted fabric that is stretchy, drapey and super soft. It is made from 92% viscose and 8% elastane which gives it a 80% stretch across the width (from selvedge to selvedge) and a 60% stretch down the length of the fabric. It is soft, silky and has plenty of drape, making this fabric the perfect choice for sewing tops, dresses, skirts, jumpsuits, culottes and more. At 220 grams per square metre, this fabric is classed as a medium weight. The fabric is opaque and should not require lining. We recommend sewing this fabric with a new ballpoint needle for best results. This fabric is POD (printed on demand), so please allow extra time for delivery. Once you place an order for POD fabric, our team will carefully print your chosen design, on your chosen base cloth, to your chosen size, with care.
