Jackson's Extra Offset Crank Palette Knives Are Made From Stainless Steel With Black Wooden Handles. They Have Long Shanks, A Flexible Blade, And A Large ‘offset’. When The Bottom Of The Blade Is Held Flat On A Table, The Handle Of A Knife With A Large Offset Will Point Higher In The Air Than A Knife With A Small Offset. A Reasonable Offset Is Desirable In A Painting Knife Because It Stops The Artist’s Knuckles Coming Into Contact With The Wet Surface Of The Canvas. The Range Also Includes Two Palette Knives Which Have Long, Straight Blades Which Continue The Line Of The Handle (i.e. With No Offset At All).
