Schmincke developed wet bronzes in the early 1950's as a way for painters to achieve special bronze effects in their paintings. Schmincke Aqua Bronze Powders are a series of brilliant wet bronzes which are created by combining Bronze powder with an oil painting solvent. Add 3 parts Schmincke wet bronze powder and 2 parts bronze medium. To maintain gloss and luminosity mix into a paste right before painting.�
