This design features gathers at the neck and raglan sleeves. The loosely bodice is fitted onto a peplum skirt. A narrow self fabric belt can be used to cinch in the fullness around the waist or alternatively wear a narrow belt. There is a slit, with button closure at the back neck. The sleeve can be long and gathered or short and flared. The skirt of the dress can be cut on the straight grain for flare or on the bias for a more draped & sleeker silhouette.
