The ITG Megaflow JC100 Multi Carburettor Air Filter range provides a superior solution to air filtration of multi carburettor installations.ITG are supplied to the pick of the crop of motorsport teams across the globe both in racing and rallying and are the only choice for some of the most renowned engine builders in the UK. ITG filters combine truly ultimate performance without sacrificing engine protection.The ITG Megaflow Air Filter is handmade in the UK and is predominantly designed for competition use, with the filters simply bolting onto the base plates (available separately) providing optimum air flow, engine protection and safety. This is accomplished by providing a three layer 'Trifoam' system, with the outer two layers filtering drawn air and the inner manufactured from self extinguishing filter foam providing a safety vital aspect designed to reduce damage to the filter should 'blowback' from the carburettor occur.The 'Red-band/s' fixed to the filter enable secure attachment to the baseplate and maintain overall rigidity, are constructed from a tough, durable yet lightweight fibre reinforced nylon which also has been researched to ensure best match to the baseplate for minimum induction seepage. Easily identfied, the ITG 'Red-band' has become a signature for both quality and performance and are available in either single (for sausage shape) or dual (for flat top shape). The foam fitted to the 'Sausage' filter range is held in a fixed position by a hand cut wire mesh which, unlike other filters on the market is formed across all of the filter which ensures the filter ends also remain in best shape for optimum filtration and great long term appearance as well as the filter body.ITG recommend a maximum gap between the top of the inside of the filter and the carburettor inlet (or trumpets/ram pipes) ensuring sufficient air to circulate, but 13mm (1/2") (19mm gap if ram pipes/trumpets are fitted) should provide suitable circulation should space be at a premium.The JC100 range of filters is designed for multi carburettor installations and are available in flat top designs with the range ensuring maximum versatility as various inner height sizes are available: 25, 40, 65 and 100mm.Filter dimensions (excluding mounting lugs): Length (mm): 608, Width (mm): 142, Internal Height (mm): Various (as above)Please note: ITG air filters require pre-oiling prior to installation.
