Usage Warnings Precautions to consider before using Braun Nasal Aspirator The Braun Nasal aspirator is designed to clean/extract nasal secretions only. Do not use the device for purposes other than those stated in these instructions for use. Keep out of reach of children under 12 years. DO NOT expose the Braun Nasal aspirator 1 to direct sunlight. This device is designed for domestic use only. Consult a doctor if the child is suffering from a nasal infection. DO NOT use other nozzle than those supplied with this device. Use of the wrong tip or overly forceful insertion may result in nosebleed. This product does not need to be calibrated. While in use, DO NOT block the exhaust at the side of the device as it would affect the functionality of the device. Care, cleaning and troubleshooting. See Quick Start Guide for pictures. Clean before first and each use to prevent contamination. Twist off the cup and remove the tip. Clean the cup and tip with soap and warm water (>33°C - 30 s). Do not use household cleaners other than dish appropriate soap. Wipe device to clean it. To even better reduce risk of infection/cross-infection, you can disinfect the detachable parts (cup and tip) in the dishwasher but NOT the device itself. Don’t let the device get wet. If suction has decreased, perform a device care + ensure that the nostril is fully sealed against tip + ensure that the exhaust port is not blocked. Do not use the device if malfunctions occur and contact the manufacturer. Device care and if mucus accidentally overfills keep the cup attached and lower only the cup into warm water but not too deeply. Start suction to flush clean. Storage temperature -25 °C ~ +55 °C The device needs special precautions regarding EMC. Portable and mobile RF communications equipment can affect medical electrical equipment.
