Sustainability Our honey is packaged in 100% recycled, NZ-made rPET plastic pots with no outer display packaging to reduce waste. Certified as BPA free. Because we transport our pots 11,000 miles by sea, changing from recyclable plastic to glass would add significant weight and therefore fuel, emissions and pollutants to every shipment. An impact assessment concluded rPet was lighter, unbreakable and had a better environmental balance than glass for transporting Manuka honey from our hives New Zealand.
