Château Rauzan-Ségla 'Ségla' 2014/16, Margaux

Ségla is the second wine of the famous Margaux second growth Château Rauzan-Ségla – and it’s one of the best value second wines around. More accessible than their first wine, it doesn’t receive as much new oak, so tannins are ripe and smoother, making it perfect for drinking now. It’s quintessential Margaux at a fraction of the price of some of the top estates. What’s more, it will continue to improve over the next decade. Expect fragrant notes of blackberry, blueberry, cassis, violets and cedar with incredible length and ripe tannins. Drink it now with roast lamb and rosemary potatoes, or cellar for 7-10 years.
