We sell them ’as caught’ in our clams section. But these are a Spanish delicacy - ’Navajas’ - small clams in a sardines-sized tin. The texture of them is surprisingly firm and meaty and they have a unique taste. Of course there's the weird shape as well. Not what you expect from your typical clam! They would make an interesting addition to a seafood paella or chowder.
