Intellisense Paediatric Defibrillation Pads for PowerHeart® G5 Intellisense Paediatric Defibrillation Pads are recommended for patients 8 years of age or younger, or weighing less than 55 pounds (25kg). They are non-polarized, so they can be placed on either position of the chest or back which can help prevent any confusion and help save time during the rescue. The PowerHeart G5 embedded circuitry can quickly and automatically detect the paediatric pad, this can then help adjust the energy protocols and CPR requirements.
