This product is created for animals and is not intended for human use What is Galliprant Tablets for Dogs Galliprant is used to treat pain associated with mild to moderate osteoarthritis (OA) in dogs. Galliprant is a piprant - a first in class prostaglandin receptor antagonist (PRA) that does not inhibit the COX enzymes. It specifically targets the EP4 receptor, the primary mediator of canine (OA) pain. As a result of its novel mode of action, Galliprant provides OA pain relief that is comparable to that of traditional NSAIDs while reducing the impact on GI, kidney and liver homeostasis.
