The Maison Louis Latour Volnay 1er Cru 'En Chevret' 2015 is a beautifully elegant Burgundy from the Premier Cru of En Chevret in Volnay, one of the most prestigious villages in the Côte de Beaune. Volnay is renowned for producing some of the most delicate and refined expressions of Pinot Noir, characterised by their finesse, floral aromatics, and silky tannins. Founded in 1797, Maison Louis Latour is one of Burgundy’s most historic producers, with a legacy of crafting wines that balance tradition with modern innovation. The 2015 vintage showcases the best of the warm growing season, producing a wine with exceptional depth and concentration. The wine spent 10-12 months in French oak (35% new), resulting in a complex bouquet of ripe red cherries, violets, and earthy undertones. The palate is vibrant and structured, with layers of red fruit, subtle spice, and a refined minerality, all supported by fine-grained tannins and a long, elegant finish.
