Bartoline 1876 Decorators Caulk White 310ml Bartoline 1876 Flexible Decorators Caulk is a high performance product for the professional user based on leading developments in acrylic elastomer technology. It is ideal for sealing around frames, skirtings and architraves and general gap filling. Bartoline Flexible Decorators Caulk provides good flexibility combined with excellent colour stability and can be overpainted with waterborne paints after 1 hour* and solvent based paints when cured. PREPARATION Surfaces must be solid, clean, dry and free from grease and dust. Where a particularly neat finish is required, use masking tape to cover the face edges of the join and remove immediately once tooling is completed. APPLICATION & FINISHCut the top from the cartridge screw-thread and screw on the nozzle. Cut the nozzle to the required width of the seal. Apply using a standard cartridge gun ensuring a good, solid fill and full contact is made with both sides of the gap. Smooth with a wetted spatula or smoothing tool within 10 minutes of application. TECHNICAL*Drying and over-coating times are indicative and depend on the temperature, humidity and bead diameter, substrate, coat thickness and ambient conditions.
