The NDI encoding/decoding allows seamless integration with tools like Zoom Teams or Vmix for live streaming. The 65/35 beam-splitter glass provides clear text reflection without distorting the camera image supporting high-res cameras like cinema or mirrorless models. NDI is a video-over-IP protocol that allows for high-quality low-latency video transmission over standard Ethernet networks. Our NDI teleprompter can be connected to a network using standard Ethernet cables eliminating the need for dedicated video cables or specialized hardware. In addition the teleprompter utilizes PoE++ technology that allows both power and NDI data to be transmitted through a single Ethernet cable. By using a single cable for power tally lights and data transmission you can reduce the overall cost of materials as well as the cost of installation and maintenance.The included teleprompter hood fully encloses the PTZ camera allowing it to move freely inside the hood. The teleprompter features a 65/35 reflective glass that makes the reflection easier to see for the presenter. The lightweight aluminum teleprompter has multiple 1/4-20” and 3/8-16” threads for mounting to a tripod or pedestal.PTZ TelepromptingThe Ikan PTZ Teleprompter system is a unique PTZ teleprompting system that enables the PTZ camera’s pan tilt and zoom capabilities while still behind the reflective teleprompter glass. You can easily pan the camera between multiple people reading from the same script.Fully Enclosed PTZ HoodThe PTZ teleprompter features a lightweight hood that fully encloses the PTZ camera which allows it’s movement to remain unconstrained. The hood includes an opening in the back that gives you quick access to the PTZ cameras inputs and outputs. The opening can be closed with a drawstring which removes the possibility of any light leaks.Large Range of Camera CompatibilityOur PTZ Teleprompter includes a large canvas hood making it compatible with the vast majority of PTZ cameras.Using Beam Splitters for TelepromptersIkan’s teleprompter beam splitter glass allows talent to read from a teleprompter screen while maintaining direct eye contact with the camera or audience. The 3mm thick optical-grade glass features a front surface mirror coating with 65% transmission and 35% reflection along with an anti-reflection (AR) coating on the rear to prevent ghosting. This design ensures clear color-neutral images for the camera and easy-to-read text for the talent.Proprietary Glass and Coating FormulaThe glass is coated so that it reflects 65% of the light projected onto it while allowing the remaining 35% to pass through. This unique characteristic enables the presenter to read the reflected script text clearly projected from a monitor below or behind the glass while simultaneously allowing the camera positioned directly behind the glass to record through it without capturing the reflected text.Versatile Teleprompter MonitorThe 19-inch prompter monitor features SDI HDMI Composite and VGA inputs and the native resolution is 1920 x 1080.
