What s included: choice of beauty photography class Available classes include: Four-hour theory and hands-on photography lighting class with a focus on beauty Four-hour practical photography lighting class with a focus on beauty Theory hands-on and practical photography lighting class with a focus on beauty What to bring: DSLR camera with an SD card No prior studio experience required but some basic understanding of photography and how to operate a camera are necessary This course is aimed at beginners and intermediate photographers alike Theory and hands-on photography lighting class In the first session customers will be shown and explained all the theory around shooting beauty Customers will become familiar with various photography and studio equipment such as flashlights reflectors diffusers dishes backdrops and more This class is hands-on so that customers can become comfortable taking beauty shots themselves Practical beauty photography lighting class In the second session customers will put all they have learnt into practice It is recommended to also take part in the first session as this is a follow-up Customers will work with a professional model and MUA and will be guided to take their own beauty shots Theory hands-on and practical photography lighting class Combines both classes and includes: Theory of beauty photography Deconstructing and recreating lighting techniques Flash lighting Constant lighting Using Colorama backdrops and Manfrotto support system Photographing portraits and beauty in a fully manual setting Interaction between aperture shutter speed and ISO Low key and high key photography Using various studio equipment (diffusers dishes polyboards etc) Operating the hand-held light meter Shooting tethered with lightroom About the instructor: Coming from Rome Lucio Marcellini obtained his BA Degree in Photography from Middlesex University of London. Since then he has been working with some of the most influential modeling agencies in London such as Nevs Menace PRM and Models 1 specialising in the creation of artistic portfolios for male models. He has won/been shortlisted for many photography awards such as Only Human by National Portrait Gallery or Ciao Italia by Mario Testino.
