A blend of 350-million-year-old decomposed granite soils and refreshing southeastern breezes rolling in from the Atlantic Ocean makes this an ideal spot for growing a range of varieties, including Merlot. Rich and smooth, expect flavours of ripe plum, blackberry, and mulberry alongside savoury spice and warming oak. Try it with grilled meats and hearty stews.
