Harvested from the renowned Gimblett Gravels wine-growing district in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand, this producer prides itself on small-scale, hands-on production with close attention to detail during the winemaking process. This wine spends 12-15 months in French oak barriques, adding complexity and texture. The name Shed 530 is a playful and literal combination of the address (530 Puketapu Road) and the winery design. Expect flavours of raspberry and blackberry, lifted with hints of black pepper and spice. A great accompaniment to any meat dish.
