TST Nomex Cooling Vest - White

These lightweight cooling vests from TST are the ideal way to keep your body core temperature cool during long hot races.They are very easy to use and require no connections to external cold water tanks, instead they use PCM (phase change material) elements which begin absorbing heat from 28 deg C. Body skin temperature is usually around 32 deg C so the cooling effect of the vest can be felt as soon as it is put on.Unlike some other cooling vests, the TST vest does not need to be charged in a refrigerator or freezer. It can be charged at room temperature (22 deg C or below) for 3-4 hours. The charging time will be reduced if the ambient temperature is lower. The PCM elements will give up to 4 hours of cooling once charged. The PCM elements are removable from the vest to allow for washing or to charge the elements. Replacement elements are also available should any become damaged.The vest itself is manufactured from a flame retardant Nomex material so is suitable for motorsport use.
