Korouoma Canyon & Ranua Zoo Tour

Car transfer from Rovaniemi takes about 1,5 hour. Moderate hiking. Korouoma is 30 kilometer long and up to 130 meters deep canyon fracture valley. Canyon and its high cliffs form a breathtakingly landscape to enjoy throughout the year. The area’s landscape is exceptionally rugged and grand. Several 30 meter steep streams freeze during the winter forming huge ice formations, offering fantastic views and play of colours. Moderate hiking. Right after hiking we will go to Ranua Zoo. Transfer time is approximately 1 hour. This about 2,5 km walk in the magical forest will allow you to meet many animals and birds that can be found in the arctic areas. The zoo is outdoors, so prepare yourself with adequate clothing. The excursion suits for the whole family. After the visit You´ll have buffet lunch and some free time for shopping in the small boutiques. Fazer chocolate and local wine shops. Transfer back to Rovaniemi 1 hour.
