This 14.5 oz denim features a tight weave and a generous application of starch, ensuring remarkable stiffness. But what truly sets it apart is its exceptional aging property, a testament to the blend of heritage and innovative craftsmanship from Kurabo Mills.This denim stands out due to its unique construction: the warp, primarily visible on one side of the fabric, is dyed black, allowing it to gradually fade with wear and washing. In contrast, the weft, mainly visible on the back of the fabric, is dyed with a 'stay black' dye, keeping its deep black shade without fading. While this may seem unconventional for a fading denim, it creates interesting contrasts, highlighting the warp-weft intersections.
