Kandy City Day Tour

Kandy is a large city in central Sri Lanka. It's set on a plateau surrounded by mountains, which are home to tea plantations and biodiverse rainforest. The city's heart is scenic Kandy Lake (Bogambara Lake), which is popular for strolling. Kandy is famed for sacred Buddhist sites, including the Temple of the Tooth (Sri Dalada Maligawa) shrine, celebrated with the grand Esala Perahera annual procession. During the Kandy City Tour, first stop will be at the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. Also known as the Sri Dalada Maligawa, this golden roofed Temple, houses the relic of Lord Buddha's tooth. The guests can walk around the Kandy Lake once visiting the Temple of Sacred Tooth Relic. Next we visit the Bahirawakanda Temple and then we visit the Kandy View Point.
