Bimber Peated Cask Single Malt London Whisky is a small batch single malt whisky from Bimber distillery.The whisky has been matured in ex-Peated Islay whisky casks.. Every cask is specially selected, and married together in their hand made vat, before being bottled.. This is one of only 1750 bottles made in Batch #1.. Bimber Distillery is a craft micro-distillery based in north London. 'Bimber' means moonshine in Polish. The founders of the distillery emigrated to London from Poland in 2003 to start their business. Their first casks of whisky were laid down on 26th May 2016 and the inaugural release of their single malt whisky (The First) was bottled three years later in September of 2019. The distillery usually bottles its whisky in small batches or from single casks. Among them are mainly Ex-Bourbon and Sherry casks but also fresh Virgin Oak casks.
