Famille Bougrier Icône Vouvray 2024

This off-dry Loire Chenin Blanc was made for food. It’s fresh, elegant, and has juicy ripe fruit with a slight hint of sweetness. It’s made by Famille Bougrier, a family-run company that’s been established since 1885. The grapes are selected from clay-limestone soils and a small portion spends 12 hours macerating on the skins for added texture and complexity. The result is a ripe, off-dry expression of Chenin Blanc with flavours of honey, apricots, and a more-ish freshness. It’s a perfect match with Asian food but also delicious with charcuterie, BBQ pork, or as an apéritif.
