Kingfisher Fibreseal is a professional-grade, solvent-based acrylic repair compound formulated to deliver instant waterproofing for roofs, gutters, flashings, and cladding. Engineered with built-in fibrous reinforcement, it bridges small cracks and gaps, forming a tough, flexible membrane even in damp or wet conditions.. Its thixotropic grey formula ensures excellent workability on vertical and sloped surfaces without sagging, and cures to a weather-resistant, semi-gloss finish. Fibreseal is ideal for emergency repairs and planned refurbishments across residential, industrial, and agricultural buildings.. Key Features & Benefits. Instant Waterproof Seal: Stops leaks immediately—even in the rain. Built-in Fibre Reinforcement: Flexible and crack-bridging for added durability. All-Weather Application: Suitable for use in wet, damp, or dry conditions. UV-Stable & Weatherproof: Resists embrittlement and degradation from sunlight. Multi-Surface Compatibility: Bonds to felt, slate, asbestos sheets, metal cladding, lead, concrete and more. Semi-Gloss Finish: Clean, uniform grey coating that enhances appearance. Ideal For. Flat or pitched roof leak repairs. Cracked flashings or felt overlaps. Gutter joints and valleys. Temporary or permanent detailing around chimneys and roof windows. Industrial roofing and sheet metal waterproofing. Product Details. Colour: Grey. Finish: Flexible, semi-gloss film. Pack Sizes: 5 kg or 20 kg. Cure Time: Initial cure in 24 hours, full cure in 72 hours (at 20 °C). Coverage: 1–2 m² per litre for single thick coat or 0.5 m² per litre for two thin coats. Surface Prep: Remove dirt, grease, and loose debris. Do not apply to frosty or greasy surfaces. Power wash if required (avoid high-pressure on asbestos). Apply in one thick or two thin coats, depending on the area and porosity. Crack Bridging: For joints or cracks, embed fibre mesh or fleece between coats, ensuring air pockets are eliminated.
