Louis Latour Mâcon-Chardonnay 2024, Burgundy

White Burgundy is a go-to for Chardonnay drinkers, and the Mâconnais in particular offers great value. The Latour family are one of the region’s most famous names, beginning in the 1760s as vine growers before establishing Maison Louis Latour in 1797. This Mâcon Chardonnay is made without the use of oak to preserve the rich, fruit aromas, yet it goes through 100% malolactic fermentation to bring a round, silky-smooth feel to the wine. It’s bursting with tropical fruit flavours alongside a zesty citrus that is perfectly matched with grilled fish and hard cheese like Comté.
