Veiled Vineyards Old Vine Semillon 2016

75cl / 13.5% - South Africa has done a lot to preserve its old vines and this Franschhoek wine shows how important these old vines are. This is a blend of Semillon and Semillon Gris which has naturally mutated on the vine over time. They are aged in third-fill French oak to give support to the wonderfully rich fruit. This is a very textural wine with notes of waxy lemon, pear and carraway seeds that lead into notes of beeswax and delicate spices.
