Soudal Firecryl FR is a high-performance, fire-resistant acrylic sealant designed to maintain the integrity of fire-rated walls and floors by sealing joints and gaps against the spread of smoke and flames. When exposed to fire, it swells to form a char that blocks fire and smoke penetration. Preparation: Ensure joints are clean, dry, and free of dust or loose materials. Use backing rod if required.. Apply Sealant: Cut nozzle to fit joint width and apply with a standard caulking gun.. Tooling: Smooth with a wet spatula within 10 minutes of application.. Finishing: Allow to fully cure before exposing to moisture or painting.. Limitations.
