The Form-A-Shield from Design Engineering is ideal for use where there is a need to completely block or reflect very high temperatures. Featuring a 10mm dimpled aluminium sheet combined with 1/4" high temperature resistant Basalt insulation matting, the Form-A-Shield is capable of withstanding direct temperatures of up to 760°C / 1400°F.Ideal for where extreme direct heat protection is requiredCan easily be formed to different shapesIdeal for protecting bodywork, bulkheads or heat sensitive ancillariesCapable of withstanding direct heat up to 1400°F (760°C)Supplied as a matting, the Form-A-Shield can be moulded to suit the application and secured in place using either the Design Engineering spray adhesive or using any form of mechanical fixing method.
