It has a 20% higher chiselling performance than any other rotary hammer in its class, and low vibration thanks to Bosch Vibration Control. The quick-change chuck makes for fast changes between drilling with impact in concrete and drilling without impact in wood and metal. The L-shaped design makes for comfortable working and balanced weight distribution, there is also a rotation stop for use when chiselling. There is a rotating brush plate for equal power in forward and reverse rotation and impact stop for drilling in wood and metal.
