We will include 15mm white melamine faced (non-edged) shelving boards with every order due to ongoing availability issues with 15mm chipboard. The BiG800 Workbench is intended for frequent use and particularly heavy loads, such as those found in factories, warehouses, and garages. The BiG800's C-section beams, made of premium grade, European-sourced steel and powder-coated blue and grey, simply tap together to form a strong, rigid structure ideal for heavy industrial use. Despite its massive load capacity of 800kg uniformly distributed load, the BiG800's modular, boltless construction makes it simple to assemble, fully adjustable, and, with the addition of extra shelves and tie plates, simple to configure for both additional storage and worktop space respectively. Worktops 2135mm and 2440mm wide are supplied in two pieces, and chipboard decks wider than 1830mm are supplied in two parts for ease of handling. Two high-density, 15mm-thick chipboard decks sit on top of the steel beams, supported by a central support beam. Plastic top caps protect the worktop's corners and give the Bench a clean, uncluttered appearance. Angled steel uprights protect the lower shelf's corners.
