Croft 'Quinta Da Roeda' Vintage Port 2005

Founded in 1588, Croft is the Port industry’s oldest producer still active today. Their innovative thinking led to the creation of the very first vintage Port in 1781, changing the roadmap for Portugal’s winemaking future forever. The house continues to lead from the front, consistently producing some of the region’s finest fortified wines. Hailing from their flagship estate, Quinta Da Roeda, this decadent bottle is a prime example. Crafted only in the most exceptional of years, their vintage ports are characterised by an elegant structure and outstanding age-ability. This 2004 vintage is a pure expression of the estate's ancient vines and steep slopes, with opulent notes of cassis, black cherry and dark chocolate.
