Maison Christophe PICHON - Tess - AOP Côte Rôtie

Maison Christophe Pichon, in the commune of Chavanay, is a family-run estate with three generations dedicated to crafting wines from the Northern Rhône. The vineyards of the world famous Côte Rôtie appellation spread across steep, terraced hillsides, which date back to Roman times. The estate benefits from two distinct terroirs: Côte Brune, with granite terraces that produce bold, tannic wines, and Côte Blonde, with sand-lime soils that result in elegant and refined wines. Tess is powerful, velvety and deeply aromatic, with notes of black fruits, rose, spice and violet. It pairs beautifully with lamb or duck, which complement the wine’s bold structure.
