This beer gets its name from its founding year “1906”, founded by José María Rivera Corral when he returned to Galicia after travels in Cuba and Mexico. Therefore, this beer has the extra something as it’s made from carefully selected malts and hops of the aromatic Perle Hallertau variety, and experiences one of the longest maturation periods among national lagers providing a refreshing balance between aroma and bitterness. Still proudly brewed in Galicia, this beer has a deep amber colour and roasted notes, with an abundant and creamy head, leaving a “Belgian lace” characteristic which is retained throughout drinking.
