Product Description
Drink it now or cellar for up to 5 years. No need to decant. Domaine Yohan Lardy is an emerging winery located in Beaujolais that has quickly gained popularity and recognition for its production of elegant, natural wines offering excellent value. The estate covers approximately 7 hectares of vineyards, 2 of which are located in the prestigious Les Michelots parcel in the Moulin-a-Vent appellation. The Chardonnay grapes are sourced and selected from the organically farmed Les Bruyères vineyard, located approximately 150 meters above sea level on a plateau near the entrance to the village of Fleurie. Here, the vines enjoy a sunny position and a clay-loam soil that favors the full expression of the Chardonnay's aromas. After manual harvesting, the vinification takes place naturally and spontaneously, and the finished wine then ages on the lees for four months. In the glass, Beaujolais Blanc Les Bruyeres reveals a brilliant golden yellow color and a fragrant aromatic profile with notes of citrus, apple, and melon, followed by lightly toasted and buttery aromas, and hints of nutty fruit. On the palate, it is smooth, harmonious, and elegant, with good minerality and a balanced, refreshing acidity. The finish is medium-long and recalls delicate honeyed notes. Try it with grilled chicken or white fish.
