Ancre Hill Estate Pefriog 2018 is a fresh yet intense zero dosage blanc de noirs made from 100% Pinot Noir. This Biodynamic sparkling wine is made in the Methode Traditionelle and is superb value for money. It has very crisp acidity with ripe apple, pear skin, ripe melon and a lovely earthy minerality. Ancre Hill Estates is located in the Welsh county of Monmouthshire, where the 12 hectares of vineyards are perfectly positioned on south facing slopes close to the border town of Monmouth and the Wye Valley. The estate utilises traditional Biodynamic and Organic Viticultural practices to produce the best possible fruits from carefully sourced and selected varieties with excellent heritage. The wine expresses the terroir of ancient mudstone and sandstone soils, giving it its character and natural flavours, with no external intervention or manipulation in the winemaking process.
