Erdevik Winery is one of the oldest in Serbia and is located in the Syrmia wine region in the village of Erdevik. In this beautiful area of ​​the country, on the rolling hills on the western slopes of Fruska Gora, the cultivation of vines dates back to Roman times and in 1826, Count Livio Odescalchi, who ruled the region with his family, decided to establish a winery. Today, Erdevik produces some of the best Serbian wines with grapes sourced from the estate vineyards located in Krcedin. Made only with Syrah grapes, Stifler's mom is the most representative wine and one of the most awarded of the Erdevik winery. After vinification, the finished wine rests for 2 years in barrique and another 12 months in bottle. The name is a tribute to the character of the film American Pie, played by Jennifer Coolidge, and refers to the sensual character of this delicious red wine. The wine reveals a bright and clear color with ruby ​​tones and a broad and captivating aromatic profile with fruity notes of cherry and raspberry, followed by spicy and floral aromas. On the palate, it is rich and lively, juicy and round with velvety tannins and a long finish that recalls sweet fruity notes. It is excellent with chili con carne, with a spicy ragu or with mature cheeses.
