Henstone Distillery 'Nonpareil' Apple Brandy

Sweeney 'Nonpareil' is a native Shropshire apple variety used by the distillery team in making this english apple brandy. Like many english apple varieties, it very nearly became extinct in the 1970s.. This apple brandy is distilled from our own cider to produce this wonderfully smooth and warming craft spirit. Following distillation the spirit is matured in new American oak casks at approximately 65% before being bottled at 45%. A really interesting alternative for lovers of good calvados.. Nonpareil is perfect served neat as a digestif. Also try it mixed with lemon juice, sugar syrup and sparkling wine to create a Nonpareil ’75 cocktail.
