Benriach 2013 Malting Season / Second Edition Speyside Whisky

70cl / 48.9% / Distillery Bottling - The second edition of Benriach's Malting Season single malt is made using Concerto barley that was malted at Benriach's own malting floor in autumn 2013 and matured in first-fill ex-bourbon casks. Aromas of sweet malt, honey-nut cornflakes, mandarins, white chocolate and barley sugars fill the nose, complemented by notes of honeycomb, oranges, apples, vanilla ice cream and sweet malt throughout the palate and lingering in the finish.
