Bladnoch 'Vinaya' Single Malt Whisky 70cl

This whisky gets its name 'Vinaya' from the Sanskrit word meaning respect and gratitude. Scotland's most southerly lowland distillery, Bladnoch was founded in 1817. In 2015, it was acquired by Australian businessman David Prior, who set about an extensive refurbishment of the distillery, with production resuming in 2017. Known for its delicate, floral Lowland style, Bladoch is now under the stewardship of whisky maker Dr. Nick Savage, a former Master Distiller at The Macallan. Vinaya is matured in first-fill Bourbon and Sherry casks. It’s bright, fresh and layered with fresh apple, sweet floral grass, and hints of chocolate.
