70cl / 48.1% / Hunter Laing - A 32-year-old Caol Ila single malt from Hunter Laing that was bottled in 2022 as part of its Kinship series, celebrating the Islay Whisky Festival. Aromas of rich peat smoke, oak spice, rich malt and burning embers mingle on the nose with freshly-baked pastries, clove and briny olives, complemented on the palate by notes of marmalade, almonds, oily peat and soft leather than linger in the finish.
