Antica Vigna Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG 2021/22

Salvaterra was founded in 2014 by a group dedicated to showing the best of Venetian wines. Today, they’re regarded as a leading name for exceptional wines – at fantastic value for money. A blend of 60% Corvina, 25% Corvinone, 15% Rondinella, this spends 24 months in large oak barrels to add complexity and flavour. It’s no surprise that renowned critic James Suckling awarded the 2019 vintage 91 points. Expect juicy flavours of plum, red cherry and dates with notes of chocolate and leather. It’s a light and elegant style of Amarone – its silky texture makes it a great pairing for aged cheese, red meats and dark chocolate.
